It’s not often we see Del Boy making a mistake, but last night we did.
Sir David Jason, best known as Del Boy from Only Fools and Horses got into a spot of bother after climbing into a strangers car after he left a film premiere.
The 68 year old actor was caught amongst fans and photographers after he left the premiere of Terry Pratchett’s, ‘The Colour Of Magic’ in which he stars as the failed wizard Rincewind.
Having been hauled out of the wrong car by his wife, actress Gill Hinchcliffe, the 68 year old actor drew upon the well loved catch phrase, ‘Rodney you plonker!’ this time however, he directed it at himself.
The comic flashback raised a cheer from onlookers after the premiere.
He was mobbed by autograph hunters and photographers as he emerged into the darkness in Mayfair, London on Monday night.

Sir Mick Jagger, front man of rock royalty, the Rolling Stones escaped an assassination attempt by the Hells Angels in 1969.
The allegations were raised by a BBC Radio 4 documentary. It is believed that a former FBI agent told The FBI that the Hells Angels gang had tried to reach Jagger’s home in Long Island, New York by boat, however terrible weather conditions meant that they couldn’t reach it.
The former agent said that Jagger had become a target in a dispute over security at his bands concerts.
It is not clear whether Jagger knew of the plot.
The row between the gang and the band started after the death of a teenage fan at a Free gig at Altamont Speedway, California.
The Hells Angels were hired by Jagger to work as security at the concert, but lost their job after the incident.
They were going to kill Jagger as pay back for firing their security forces, however a storm sank the boat they were in and they never went back.

Following his latest stint in Afghanistan, Prince Harry will be promoted to lieutenant next month following his success on tour.
The 23 year olds promotion from second lieutenant will see his salary rise from £23,375 to £28,216, an increase of £13 a day. However, it is unlikely that the extra money will make a difference to his million pound private fortune.
His promotion will set him ahead of his brother which means that when the pair meets up in uniform William will have to salute Harry.
The promotion is thought not to be enough for the young Royal, who is desperate to return to operations after his secret deployment to Helmand Province, however he will have to wait two years until he returns to a war zone.
He now faces a few weeks of waiting before he can discuss his next move with his commanding officer in the Household Cavalry when his unit returns to the UK next month.

Following the trials and tribulations of Britney Spears recently, you would have thought she’d try to calm down her exposure.
But once again she is hitting front pages around the globe with claims that she is pregnant with Birmigham Paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.
Luckily these rumours have been quashed, after Ghalib, who told Star magazine that she was pregnant has been proved wrong. Much to his dismay.
Apparently her growing stomach is due to the medication doctors have prescribed her, even though the couple were spotted buying a pregancy test in LA last month.
