Jolie confirms pregnancy

Angelina Jolie has confirmed that she is expecting twins with actor Brad Pitt, following a television interview to promote her latest film, Ku Fu Panda.

The news broke when co-star Jack Black claimed that the celebrity couple would "have as many as (the) 'Brady Bunch' when you have these", after which Jolie clarified that she was pregnant with twins, but would not be drawn on the sex of the children.

The Academy Award winning actress, 32, already has four children with Pitt, having adopted 3-year-old daughter Zahara, 4-year-old son Pax and 6-year-old son Maddox. They also have a 22-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh.

James Brown's Estate

James Brown’s former partner Tomi Rae Hynie has been told by a US judge to have a DNA test done on her son, who she claims is the late singer’s child.

The DNA test is the latest installment in the fight over Brown’s estate.

The majority of his estate was left to trusts, set up to educate disadvantaged young people and his grandchildren.

Six of his adult children and Ms Hynie are contesting the will as none of them were mentioned.

Trustees handling the singer’s estate are questioning Ms Hynie’s claims about her son and also dispute that she was married to him at all.

Ms Hynie's lawyer Robert Rosen said his client had never objected to a paternity test.

"She's said that she was in favour and would do the test, provided that the other children also took the test."

Brown’s adult children claim that three of Brown’s former advisers convinced the singer to create the trusts so they could profit from managing them, after previously finding wills drafted by their father including all his children.

New Hobbit Films

Mexican born film maker, Guillermo del Toro will direct a new film version of JRR Tolkien’s ‘The Hobbit’ and its sequel.

The films are planned for release in 2010 and 2011 and will be prequels to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, which was directed by Peter Jackson.

Speaking to reporters about the new blockbusters, del Toro said, “Contributing to the Lord of the Rings legacy is an absolute dream come true”.

Jackson will produce the films, which will be shot in New Zealand where all three of the Lord of the Rings movies were filmed.

The first film is thought to be an adaptation of ‘The Hobbit’, the novel Tolkien published before the Lord of the Rings.

The second will focus on the 60 years between the book and the beginning of the Rings trilogy.

Sir Ian McKellen has already expressed an interest in reprising his Oscar-nominated role as the wizard Gandalf.

Elvis Secret UK Trip

Veteran rock star Tommy Steele has admitted that he took Elvis Presley on a secret tour of London in 1958.

For 50 years fans have believed that Presley’s only time ever spent in the UK was during a stop over at Preswick Airport in 1960.

But theatre producer Bill Kenwright revealed the secret over the radio.

Steele told reporters that he “swore never to divulge publicly” what took place and he “regrets” that the secret had been leaked out.

Speaking to the radio presenter Kenwright revealed Presley formed a friendship with Steele after calling him on the phone.

When the music legend flew into London for a day, Steele apparently took him round the city showing him famous landmarks, such as the Houses of Parliament.

James Bond

He may not have cheated death, seduced women at will and killed countless baddies, but James Bond creator Ian Fleming's experience of the shadowy world of wartime espionage helped inspire his bestselling novels.

"For Your Eyes Only" is the first major exhibition devoted to the British author and coincides with the centenary of his birth. It opens at London's Imperial War Museum on Thursday and runs until March 1, 2009.

On sale is Fleming's desk from his Jamaican home Goldeneye where he wrote his Bond books, a jacket he wore during a raid by British forces on a French port in 1942, several Bond manuscripts and props from the blockbuster film franchise.

The show seeks to explain how a man born into a world of privilege and with a playboy reputation was grounded by his work as a naval intelligence officer during World War Two.
