A 'Going for Gold' Kuala Lumpur '98 XVI Commonwealth Games Official First Day Cover with commemorative stamp, post marked '11-21 September 1998', signed in black ink by Discus thrower, Weir.

A vintage glossy 8 x 10" full-length photo of a strong, svelte Babe Ruth, clad in his Yankees road uniform taking a practice swing during spring training. The photograph is crisply signed and inscribed in a brilliant blue fountain pen "To Buster Bates from Babe Ruth.". The image is matted and framed to an overall size of 13.25 x 15.25" with scattered creasing, affecting a portion of the inscription, and a few trivial tone spots. Ruth's large and bold signature is surprisingly clean and mostly unaffected by any flaws. Coupled with the rarely seen full swing pose and the spring training setting in full Yankee regalia, this represents a superb piece of memorabilia from the most famous baseball player of them all.

Official Reach baseball, manufactured between 1920 and 1924, signed in fountain pen on the sweet spot, ‘Babe’ Ruth, with the signature dating to either 1922 or 1923. On the south panel ( below the signature), there is a small faded notation which reads 'Chi-0'. Also, on the north panel ( above the signature) someone wrote the name 'Babe Ruth' in pencil, sideways and stacked it, which is nothing more than an identifier, likely written by the original owner of the ball. In very good condition, with mild overall soiling to ball, a bit of light scuffing to a couple letters of Ruth’s signature, light traces of a couple other removed or unsuccessful signatures, and scattered light surface marks and scuffs. While there are early signed Ruth baseballs, they certainly are not as plentiful as balls signed after 1927. A desirable single-signed ball by baseball’s greatest name.

Arizona Jean Co. 2002 U. S. Open baseball cap signed in black felt tip on the underside of the brim. In very fine condition.

An 8.75x13" black and white "Life" magazine photograph of Ali in his younger years. The signature is in fine condition and is signed in black felt pen across the lighter part of the image.

Color glossy 11 x 14 photo of Ali standing over a fallen Liston, signed in black felt tip. Originally obtained by in-person specialist Mike Wehrmann. In fine condition, with a few light creases.

American Boxer, World Heavyweight Champion. A large signed colour 15 x 19.5 photograph showing Ali standing in a full length pose throwing punches towards Sonny Liston. Signed ('Muhammad Ali aka Cassius Clay') in bold silver ink at the head of the image. Professionally matted in white and framed and glazed in a plain black frame to an overall size of 19.5 x 24.

A 9x11 mahazine photograph of younr Ali sitting at a table with 5 other men.Signed across a lighter portion of the image in black felt pen.The photograph is in good condition although with some damage to the right edge (magazine page) and traces of previous mounting to the reverse.

An 8x10" colour close up photograph of boxers Muhammad Ali and Floyd Patterson. Patterson signed and inscribed at the top right corner in silver acrylic pen 'Wishing you health and happiness, your friend, Floyd Patterson'. Ali signed and inscribed at the bottom left corner in black felt pen 'Serve God, he is the goal 12-19-89. Excellent condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.

A red Lonsdale boxing glove signed by Frank Bruno. Bruno is a former boxer whose career highlight when winning the WBC Heavyweight championship in 1995. Altogether, he won 40 of his 45 contests.

A 10x8" head and shoulder studio photograph of boxer Joe Calzaghe posing for the camera in a dark suit. Signed in blue felt ink along the left edge of the image.

A full length, black and white photograph (approx. 30x21cm) showing Cooper and Ali in the ring, with Cooper standing and Ali slumped against the ropes, with typed text across the white border below the image which reads "Henry Cooper knocks down Cassius Clay, Wembley, 19th June 1963". Signed as "Sir Henry Cooper" in black ink across a lower portion of the image by the British heavyweight boxing champion.

A card signed by H. Cooper - a retired English heavyweight boxer and was the British, European and Commonwealth heavyweight champion in 1970. Cooper was also the only British boxer to win three Lonsdale Belts outright. (WO0910)
