Famed astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin were principal members of the first lunar landing in 1969. It was the fifth human spaceflight of Project Apollo and the third human voyage to the Moon. Launched on July 16th 1969 and historically, on July 20, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to land on the Moon, while Collins orbited above. We have a signed commemorative first day cover with a cachet honoring the Apollo 11 Mission. Double postmarked Moon Landing, 20/07/1969 and Washington, 09/09/1969. Signed on the front in black felt pen ink by Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. Measures 93x166mm and is unframed. In very fine condition. Scarce in this form as all these men have long refused to sign FDC’s.
