SHAW, GEORGE BERNARD
A hand-written letter on two pages, Kilteragh, Foxrock, Co. Dublin (the residence of Sir Horace Plunkett) headed stationery, dated 2nd April 1913, addressed to Ernest Metyler. Shaw states that his correspondent's name appeared "upon one of the lists of supporters of the various experiments in repertory Theatres that are now being made throughout the county, or upon the lists of supporters of Mr. Granville Barker's admirers". Accompanied by unrelated letter by F.E. Loewenstein (Shaw's bibliographer) on one side Shaw's correspondence card . Items in very good condition, highly desirable neat signature of Shaw.
