We offer a range of bespoke framing services to ensure your item is perfectly presented and protected. Using only the highest quality materials proven to maintain delicate and sensitive documents they are carefully selected to ensure the item is preserved and protected to conservation or museum framing standards while ensuring your item is presented in the best possible manner.
To ensure adequate protection we use special conservation glass or UV Perspex which eliminates nearly all harmful UV rays and the highest quality museum board for mounts.
Items can be float or window mounted to suit the style and nature of the item. There are a variety of hinging methods available to display the item, but all are to an archival standard and with acid and solvent free materials.
We can also dry mount an item when it is important that it is kept flat or when artwork such as documents, manuscripts or photographs are sensitive to moisture and temperature change
Box frames create a space between the item and the glass or Perspex allowing for the beautiful presentation of 3D items. These frames also enable air to circulate which is important for effective conservation. This method can be used for both flat media (2D) and very deep objects (3D).
