We currently have an exciting opportunity for a CATALOGUER to work at Fraser’s Autographs.
This is very varied role which requires equally academic and commercial approach and is suitable for someone with experience of cataloguing collectible objects and collections management.
Your responsibilities will include end to end stock management from research to storage. You will catalogue objects but also be able to see them in historical context and adapt their catalogue descriptions for sales purposes.
You will also play a key role in the promotion of our stock. You will co-ordinate the distribution of our catalogues and you will be responsible for their content. Your knowledge of the stock will be key for promotion of it via various marketing campaigns and you will work closely with the Marketing team.
You should have a good all round general knowledge, be a thorough researcher, have excellent writing skills and be able to work towards deadlines. You would need excellent IT, communication and organisational skills together with an eye for detail.
