Main Tasks
- To sell autograph and memorabilia items using all channels to achieve and exceed departmental targets and objectives, and to contribute to overall Company objectives.
- Prepare monthly marketing plans and activities and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Take responsibility for promoting material in online marketing and e-mail campaigns in order to achieve budgeted sales and profitability.
- Follow through all key sales leads in order to convert leads into orders. Upsell and cross-sell at every opportunity.
- Segment existing customer base and target high value prospects, reactivating where appropriate.
- Identify potential investment clients and refer or close.
- Identify and target new retail/trade/business sector prospects, developing profitable partnerships.
- Expand customer database and recruit new customers by means of promotions, advertising etc to agreed marketing budget.
- Complete invoicing and all other documentation in accordance with agreed company procedures.
- Deliver highest possible standards of service including dealing with customer queries, complaints and concerns.
- Produce and update marketing literature on all channels, ensuring that it is both timely and up to date.
- Represent the department at exhibitions and public functions, making presentations, as required.
- Maintain and update client records and contact notes to ensure all details are up to date and accurate.
- Ensure that all stock is adequately described for presentation in its best light, with appealing, informative and accurate descriptions and prices.
- Maintain wants lists and support future buying.
Performance Standards
- To achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- To achieve minimum standards of performance, to be agreed with line manager.
- To complete weekly activity reports
