Fraser’s Autographs Authentication & Valuation Service

This is a popular service undertaken by those who wish to have their autographs authenticated and valued for insurance or probate purposes. You must first establish an autograph’s authenticity before being able to give it an accurate value.

Fraser’s Autographs is part of Stanley Gibbons Plc, one of the foremost names in philatelic collecting, so you can be assured that our trusted authentication and valuation of your autographs will be entirely accurate. The authentication and valuation process is based upon our extensive working knowledge and involvement within the autograph industry, expertise in the area of autograph analysis and our professional experience, alongside a comparison with other existing examples of autographs (authentic as well as forged) and any available literature.

Whether the material you want valued is a rare single signed photograph or a collection, Fraser’s Autographs has the facilities and expertise to provide you with the best possible service available.

Please contact us on +44 (0)20 7836 8444 or
sales@frasersautographs.com to arrange an authentication/valuation appointment.

No valuation will be made over the phone. The authentication and valuation service costs 2.5% of the final valuation set by Fraser’s Autographs and an initial fee of £100.

The valuation process can take a maximum of twenty eight working days to complete, upon which you are provided with the completed authentication and valuation service documentation.

Material for valuation can be brought to our London premises, posted using a secure tracking service, or we can arrange for a nominated courier to collect the material, which would be an additional £25 per package (25kg max) per journey (details available upon request).

Please be aware that we do not provide the service for material which is framed and especially glazed as it can affect an accurate conclusion if we are not able to view the original item, free of presentation material.
