Auction Charges

All auction lots are subject to a Buyer’s Premium of 15% unless otherwise indicated plus VAT at the current rate (20% in 2011).

Additionally VAT will be charged on all lots prefixed by T at the current rate, if sold purchasers resident in E.E.C. or collected from Fraser’s premises by an overseas bidder.

Payment

We welcome payment for auction purchases by means of the following cards:
DEBIT: SWITCH/MAESTRO, DELTA, SOLO, ETC. (no charge)
CREDIT CARDS: VISA, MASTERCARD (service charge of 1.79%)
CHARGE CARDS: DINERS and AMEX (service charge of 4.25%)

Storage Charges

Storage charges will be levied on lots that remain no our premises after the expiration of three months from the data of sale. Such charges will be applicable to lots that have been paid for but not collected, and to lots that are unsold but not re-offered. The storage charge will be 1% of the hammer price for purchased lots of 1% of the reserve for unsold lots with a minimum charge of £10 per month. If the material is not claimed within twelve months Fraser’s Auctions shall be entitled to dispose of the material to defray accrued storage charges.
